Anchorage Downtown Partnership, Ltd. is looking for a self-motivated, creative and hardworking individual to join the marketing team! Through this position, you will have the opportunity to work in all different facets of the marketing field including: marketing, advertising, public relations, communications, social media, graphic design and sales. You will also work with the team to promote and sell membership and other services provided by ADP.

ADP is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to assure a vibrant downtown and become the catalyst for downtown development.

Opportunities/Responsibilities
You will have opportunity to:

  • Work as a team member during collaborative advertising development
  • Manage marketing programs for downtown Anchorage
  • Assist in the development of creative briefs
  • Complete logo design, layout, and other graphic design needs
  • Work on graphic design for rack cards, pamphlets, posters & fliers
  • Complete creative writing/updating for the web and social media
  • Develop online and social media strategy
  • Write for radio and television advertisements
  • Write for Company Press Releases
  • Public speaking & press interviews
  • Create company presentations, packets & power points
  • Provide analytical analysis of marketing and advertising efforts
  • Assist in development of company mobile app
  • Assist in the development of company documentary & film making
  • Assist in the marketing of brand & contract marketing services
  • Promote membership with ADP and attract new members
  • Develop, Promote and Sell ADP Perks to attain individual members
  • Promote & Sell ADP contract services including maintenance, security, events and membership

Expectations
Successful candidates for the Marketing & Sales Coordinator position with Anchorage Downtown Partnership, Ltd. should expect the following:

  • The marketing coordinator will report to Marketing Director, Executive Director under close supervision of existing staff
  • Be a team player
  • Anchorage Downtown Partnership, Ltd. and the Marketing & Sales coordinator understand that this is a full time (40 hours per week), pay position. Salary based on experience.
  • Work will be completed as demanded for the job
  • The Marketing & Sales Coordinator is expected to participate in our collaborative workplace and participate in team projects such as planning, coordinating and carrying out community events, membership programs, and marketing initiatives.
  • The Marketing & Sales Coordinator will fill in and manage as necessary marketing programs that ADP puts in place for downtown Anchorage
  • Marketing Coordinator will have the ability to create and implement action plans, set priorities effectively and meet deadlines through completion of project.
  • Marketing & Sales Coordinator will be expected to deliver an increasing number of sales in regards to services, membership, events and ADP perks

Recommended Experience & Capabilities
Successful candidates to work in this position with Anchorage Downtown Partnership, Ltd. should have experience with the following:

  • Microsoft Office products
  • Adobe Creative Suite products
  • Apple / Mac operating system & products
  • Collegiate Level writing skills
  • Ability to manage and work on multiple tasks
  • Ability to priorities and & meet deadlines
  • Background in technical, creative writing and literature
  • Great interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work closely with others in a team setting
  • Basic Graphic Design Experience/Capabilities
  • Familiarity with Adobe Suite Products
