National Small Business Saturday (SBS) is strategically placed on the day after Black Friday to encourage positive economic stimulation for small businesses. In 2023, SBS pulled in approximately $17 billion for independent retailers and small businesses across the country, according to the 2023 SBS Consumer Insight Survey. According to American Express, this annual holiday has generated over $200 billion in revenue for American small businesses since the observance began in 2010.
ADP is working with small businesses across the neighborhood to host a special Downtown Anchorage observance of SBS. Shoppers will be encouraged to visit each location on the map throughout the day, peruse and purchase their wares, and support local small business owners! Shoppers can enter to win two roundtrip tickets to anywhere Alaska Airlines flies, by scanning a QR code at a participating location during regular operating hours on Nov. 30. One entry per person.
