Downtown Summer Solstice Festival – June 18th, 2022
The Anchorage Downtown Partnership Ltd. (ADP) presents Downtown Summer Solstice Festival to celebrate the longest day of the year! This year we are celebrating Solstice on June 18 at Town Square Park, Peratrovich Park, G Street, and E Street from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.
This year’s Downtown Summer Solstice Festival will feature a variety of entertainment and activities, including:
- Live Music with the John Damberg Jazz Quartet (1:00 – 4:00 p.m.) on G Street
- 9th Army Band (1:00 – 3:00 p.m.) in Peratrovich Park
- Dance Performances by Sankofa, Flow Zone, Polynesian Dance by POA, and Anaya Latin Dance (12:30 – 4:00 p.m.) in Town Square Park
- Lessons and Dance Social (with DJ) sponsored by Anaya Latin Dance (4:00 p.m.) in Town Square Park
- Beer Garden by Darwin’s Theory on G Street
- Arts Market in Town Square Park
- Rock Climbing Wall, Face Painting, and Solstice Festival Photo Booth in Town Square Park
- Petting Zoo on E Street near Town Square Park sponsored by Stand Up AK
- Kids Obstacle Course on E Street near Peratrovich Park
- Yard Games in Peratrovich Park
- Many food trucks and food vendors
- Blood Bank of Alaska Blood Drive in the Blood Mobile on E Street next to Town Square Park
- Securitas Clothing and Boot Drive in Peratrovich Park
