Open Streets ANC
In partnership with Easy Park, and the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA), Anchorage Downtown Partnership, Ltd. (ADP) announces “Open Streets ANC”, a long-term road closure initiative to stimulate economic activity, encourage physical distancing, and provide opportunities for community connection downtown. Street closures (G St. between 3rd & 5th Ave, F St. between 6th & 7th Ave, and E St. between 4th & 5th) will provide pedestrians more space to spread out. This initiative kicked off June 26th and will go through August 31st.
“As we navigate through these uncertain times it’s more important than ever to provide support to our local business and allow for sustainable social distancing,” said Amanda Moser, Executive Director, ADP. “We are thrilled to increase the opportunity for downtown patrons to safely enjoy downtown, the businesses, and other popular amenities while staying physically distanced.”
