Join Anchorage Downtown Partnership, Ltd. for the annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, November 24 in Town Square Park from 4:15-7:30pm. Enjoy FREE cookies, hot cocoa, holiday music, Santa and his reindeer, and last but not least, the lighting of the Holiday Tree!

Help us bring in the holiday season the day after Thanksgiving, November 24th in Town Square Park. Below is this year’s run of show! Join us for the fun!

4:15 p.m. — East Anchorage High School Swing Choir
4:45 p.m. — Salvation Army Brass Band
5:05 p.m. — Polynesian Association of Alaska Performance
5:35 p.m. — Anchorage Concert Chorus
6:00 p.m. — Welcome & Beginning of Ceremony
6:05 p.m. — Mayor Berkowitz cite the Official Holiday Proclamation
6:15 p.m. — Santa & Reindeer ride into Town Square
6:20 p.m. — Santa Lights the Holiday Tree
6:30 p.m. — Meet & Greet Santa & Reindeer!
6:30 p.m. — Da Capo Performance
7:00 p.m. — Polynesian Association of Alaska Performance
7:30 p.m. — Event Concludes

Special Appearances
will be made by Mayor Berkowitz, Jasmin Smith, KTVA Channel 11, iHeart Radio and Magic 98.9, and of course, Santa and his Reindeer!

Meet Santa and his Reindeer!
Take the opportunity to meet with Santa, tell him what’s on your wishlist this year and take a photo with Santa!
The reindeer petting area will be open for kiddos and families too!

If the line for Santa is too long, you and your family can bring or write your wishlist to Santa at the event! We have a mailbox collecting letters to Santa that will take them directly to the North Pole.
