Downtown Summer Solstice Festival – June 24th, 2023
Thank you to the over 20,000 people that came to our 20th Annual Downtown Summer Solstice Festival this year, and to the countless community partners that helped 4th Ave. come alive. We can’t wait to get to work planning the 2024 Downtown Summer Solstice Festival.
This Solstice Celebration is generously supported by ConocoPhillips Alaska, the Atwood Foundation, the Alaska Club, Lynden, and K&L Distributors.
ADP’s Solstice Celebration was held for the first time in 2003 – we’re excited to bring you the 20th annual celebration this year!
This is a free, family-friendly event, which will have:
- Beer gardens by Darwin’s and Uncle Joe’s (sponsored by K&L Distributors).
- Hero Games, hosted by the Alaska Club!
- We have tons of live music and performances on two stages, including the SpeNerds, Loaded Karma, 11th Airborne Division Band, Kuf Knotz & Christine Elise (on their Alaska tour).
- There will be a salsa performance with our partners Anaya Dance, and dance performances by Flow Zone
- An Alaska-made arts market with over 25 Alaska-made vendors.
- 3-on-3 basketball tournament
- Petting Zoo
- Blood Drive
- A kid zone including a climbing wall, bucking salmon, games, and face painting.
- Lynden’s Tractor “#27”. This iconic truck pioneered truck service to Alaska on the Alcan and is now a rolling museum.
