As stewards of downtown, we are committed to delivering a great urban experience – in downtown parks, on our sidewalks, and everywhere in between.
ADP’s Downtown Ambassadors lead our efforts to make downtown clean, safe, and vital. Ambassadors work Monday thru Friday in the winter and Wednesday-Sunday in the summer to remove snow from sidewalks, remove litter from sidewalks and from the public trash cans downtown, and remove graffiti. Ambassadors also walk all 120 blocks of the downtown improvement district every day, and act as the ‘eyes and ears’ of downtown, identifying maintenance needs, supporting individuals needing emergency or behavioral health services, and answering questions from visitors.
We work closely with all downtown property owners, downtown businesses, the Municipality of Anchorage, and partner agencies such as EasyPark to coordinate services and respond to requests and needs.
