As stewards of downtown, we are committed to delivering a great urban experience – in downtown parks, on our sidewalks, and everywhere in between.

ADP’s Downtown Ambassadors lead our efforts to make downtown clean, safe, and vital. Ambassadors work diligently to remove snow from sidewalks, remove litter from sidewalks and from the public trash cans downtown, and remove graffiti. Ambassadors also walk all 122 blocks of the Downtown Improvement District every day, and act as the ‘eyes and ears’ of downtown, identifying maintenance needs, supporting individuals in need of additional assistance, and answering questions from visitors coming to Anchorage from all around the world. We work closely with all downtown property owners, downtown businesses, the Municipality of Anchorage, and partner agencies to coordinate services and respond to requests and needs, in an effort towards realizing a clean, safe, and vital Downtown Anchorage.
