Events are what helps keep our neighborhood vital! We host a series of events to uplift Downtown Anchorage as the city’s epicenter of arts, culture, and local commerce, and to help spur economic activity for Downtown Anchorage businesses.

Our event series helps attract an annual average of over 65,000+ people in non-resident foot traffic throughout the summer, fall, and winter. We know that creating opportunities for the community to gather in celebration and joy not only makes our neighborhood a more vibrant and lively place to be, but also has a direct and positive impact on economic activity for our city’s small business owners!

Get Involved with ADP's Events

There are a variety of ways your business(es) or organization(s) can participate in Anchorage Downtown Partnership events. From Downtown storefront direct participation, to being a vendor at one of our annual signature events, to fiscal sponsorship — we are always looking to collaborate with others and make our events even bigger and better than before, so more people will know about our unique, vibrant, and happening neighborhood.

Our events are funded primarily through sponsorship dollars and community support. Our status as a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization allows charitable contributions from sponsors to be tax-deductible.

Live After Five

Live After Five Summer Concert Series

Thanks for joining us for Live After Five this summer, Anchorage!

Each week, #LiveAfterFiveANC attendees had the chance to enter to win a roundtrip ticket to anywhere Alaska Airlines flies and to learn more about their Club 49 (which, if you’re an Alaska resident, you’ll want to get in on!), courtesy of this year’s title sponsor, Alaska Airlines. Attendees also had the opportunity to enter to win a pair of tickets each week to this fall’s run of Hamilton at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts, courtesy of Broadway Alaska.

We’d like to thank our title sponsor, Alaska Airlines, for their generous support that allowed us to transform Town Square Park each week into the premier music and dance destination of #DowntownAnchorage.

We can’t wait to share what’s in store for #LiveAfterFiveANC 2024! We’ll see everyone back in Town Square Park next summer. Until then, keep dancing.

Downtown Summer Solstice Festival

Downtown Summer Solstice Festival

Thank you to everyone who made our 2023 Summer Solstice Celebration amazing! We’re especially grateful for our sponsors, Lynden Transportation, The Atwood Foundation, ConocoPhillips, and Diamond Parking.

We’d also like to thank the performing groups that solidly filled each stage with music and cultural performances, and to the 40+ vendors who helped showcase Downtown as Anchorage’s epicenter of arts, culture, and local commerce.

Most importantly, thank YOU for being one of 20,000 people that helped fill 4th Ave. with vibrancy and joy on June 24; we wouldn’t have had a successful event without Anchorageites and visitors from all walks of life coming together to celebrate something we all hold sacred: SUMMER.

Check back periodically for updates on ADP’s 2024 Summer Solstice Celebration.
